This Privacy Policy explains what SoSmooth Flow may collect, why it may be collected, how it may be used, how third-party services are involved, and how you can request help or deletion.

1. Who this Privacy Policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors, customers, Starter users, Pro subscribers, returning users, support requesters, and anyone who uses SoSmooth Flow websites, dashboards, forms, services, or connected workflows.

“SoSmooth Flow,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to the SoSmooth Flow service and its operators. “You” and “user” refer to visitors, account holders, customers, subscribers, and support requesters.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on how you use SoSmooth Flow, we may collect information needed to operate accounts, subscriptions, platform connections, publishing features, support, analytics, and security.

  • Name, email address, display name, account ID, and login information.
  • Account plan details such as Starter, Pro, subscription status, upgrade history, and account timestamps.
  • Content you create, save, schedule, preview, publish, or submit through the service.
  • Connected social account information you authorize, such as page IDs, usernames, profile data, account IDs, and connection status.
  • Billing-related information returned by PayPal or another payment provider, such as subscription ID, plan ID, status, renewal data, and payer email when available.
  • Support form information such as name, email, inquiry type, message, current plan, page/workflow, and submitted time.
  • Technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, cookies, error logs, and usage activity.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide, secure, maintain, support, and improve SoSmooth Flow.

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To verify sign-in, session state, and dashboard access.
  • To provide Starter and Pro plan access.
  • To verify PayPal subscriptions and activate Pro features.
  • To connect social platforms when you authorize that connection.
  • To save drafts, schedule posts, manage queues, and process publishing actions you request.
  • To provide customer support, billing support, and account assistance.
  • To improve product reliability, security, user experience, and performance.
  • To detect abuse, prevent fraud, protect accounts, and troubleshoot errors.

4. Account and authentication data

SoSmooth Flow may use Firebase or similar authentication services to manage account creation, login, password reset, Google sign-in, session state, and identity verification.

  • Authentication providers may process login credentials and account identifiers.
  • We may store account profile data such as email, name, plan, and account status.
  • Secure ID tokens may be used to confirm that requests come from a signed-in user.

5. Social platform connections

If you connect social platforms, SoSmooth Flow may access and store limited information needed to identify, display, disconnect, or use those platform connections.

  • Facebook and Instagram connection data may include page IDs, page names, Instagram business account IDs, usernames, profile pictures, follower counts, media counts, and connection status.
  • LinkedIn connection data may include account ID, name, email, profile details, access token status, and metadata needed for the connection.
  • Platform tokens may be stored server-side when needed to support authorized features.
  • You may disconnect supported platforms from the dashboard or by contacting support.

Third-party platforms operate under their own privacy policies, terms, permissions, and API rules.

6. Content you create or publish

When you write, save, schedule, preview, or publish content through SoSmooth Flow, we may process that content to provide the requested features.

  • Drafts, captions, messages, scheduled posts, selected platforms, media references, timestamps, and post status may be stored.
  • Content may be sent to connected platforms when you choose to publish or schedule it.
  • You are responsible for the content you create, upload, schedule, or publish.

7. AI writing tools

SoSmooth Flow may provide AI-assisted tools for hooks, hashtags, calls to action, emojis, captions, or other writing support.

  • Text you submit to AI tools may be processed to generate requested suggestions.
  • We may log limited prompt previews, tool type, result previews, success status, and errors for troubleshooting and improvement.
  • Do not submit passwords, private keys, payment secrets, or highly sensitive information into AI tools.
  • You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated suggestions before use or publishing.

8. Payments, subscriptions, and PayPal

Paid access, including Pro subscriptions, may be processed by PayPal or another third-party payment provider.

  • We do not intend to store full payment card numbers directly on SoSmooth Flow servers.
  • PayPal may process payment credentials, billing details, subscription status, and renewal information under its own policies.
  • SoSmooth Flow may store subscription IDs, plan IDs, payer emails, status, timestamps, and verification data needed to activate or manage Pro access.
  • If you cancel or payment fails, subscription status may be updated and Pro access may change.

9. Support forms and contact requests

When you submit a contact form or support request, we may collect the information you provide so we can respond.

  • Contact forms may collect name, email, subject, inquiry type, current plan, page/workflow, and message content.
  • We may use this information to route support, investigate issues, answer questions, and improve the service.
  • Do not send passwords, PayPal secrets, private keys, or sensitive payment information through support forms.

10. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

SoSmooth Flow may use cookies, browser storage, session storage, and similar technologies to support site functionality.

  • To remember sign-in state, plan intent, dashboard preferences, or temporary checkout status.
  • To support security, authentication, and user experience.
  • To understand performance, errors, and general usage patterns.
  • Browser settings may allow you to control or delete cookies and local storage, but some features may stop working correctly.

11. Third-party service providers

SoSmooth Flow may rely on third-party services to operate the product.

  • Firebase or Google services for authentication, database, hosting, analytics, or app services.
  • PayPal or other payment providers for subscriptions and billing.
  • Meta/Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and related APIs for authorized platform connections.
  • Formspree or similar form services for contact/support form submissions.
  • OpenAI or other AI providers for writing assistance tools if enabled.
  • Hosting, security, analytics, logging, and infrastructure providers.

These providers may process data according to their own privacy policies and terms.

12. Data security

We aim to use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect user data. However, no website, application, server, database, or network can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

  • We may use secure connections, authentication checks, protected server-side configs, and restricted access controls.
  • Sensitive service credentials should be kept outside public website folders.
  • Users are responsible for protecting their own passwords, devices, accounts, and connected platform access.

13. Data retention

We may retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, provide features, maintain account integrity, support billing, resolve disputes, detect abuse, comply with legal requirements, and improve reliability.

  • Account and plan data may be kept while your account is active.
  • Billing and subscription records may be retained for business, tax, fraud prevention, and legal reasons.
  • Logs may be retained for security, debugging, and reliability.
  • Deleted or disconnected data may remain in backups or logs for a limited time unless removed under a verified deletion process.

14. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of certain personal information.

  • You can update certain account details through your account or support.
  • You can disconnect supported social accounts where the dashboard provides that option.
  • You can request account-related data deletion through the Data Deletion page or contact form.
  • We may need to verify your identity before completing certain privacy requests.
  • Some information may be retained where required for legal, billing, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate business reasons.

15. California and other privacy laws

If you are located in California or another jurisdiction with privacy rights, you may have additional rights under applicable law. These may include the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, request correction, or opt out of certain data uses where required.

SoSmooth Flow does not intend to sell personal information to advertisers. If future data practices change, this policy should be updated accordingly.

16. Children’s privacy

SoSmooth Flow is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

17. International users

If you access SoSmooth Flow from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate. By using the service, you understand that data may be transferred and processed outside your location.

18. Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we may update the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of SoSmooth Flow after changes means you accept the updated policy.
